To mow or not?

Recent newspaper articles about mowing your lawn caught my attention. I have always been a tidy lawn person but since becoming infatuated with bees that has all changed.

I stopped mowing so frequently and was surprised to see the range of flowers that emerged.

Yes lawns still probably need to be kept tidy but if you can put up with it not looking so perfect, the reward is there for you (more you time) and the bees (more to eat).
